Auf dem World Cup NXL bietet es sich, wie beim Super Bowl oder der Fußball Weltmeisterschaft klassischerweise an, die Katze aus dem Sack zu lassen. Diese Gelegenheit hat sich Dye nicht entgehen lassen und vor Ort und via Livestream den neuen High End – Markierer DLS vorgestellt.

Der auf dem ersten Blick nah an die Dye M3+ angelehnte Markierer glänzt mit einem neuen Lauf der mit Carbon ummantelt ist. Weitere Neuerungen sind auf den ersten Blick nicht zu sehen, denn sie verbergen sich überwiegend im Inneren des Markierers. Als wesentliche Neuerung wurde das Paragon-Boltsystem genannt. Das patentierte System beinhaltet ein unabhängiges Ventil und Boltsystem welches das Zusammenspiel noch effizienter und verlässlicher machen soll. Somit verspricht Dye noch weniger Luft zu verbrauchen um den Ball zu beschleunigen. Gleichzeitig verspricht das vereinfachte Design eine noch einfachere Wartung was Zeit sparen kann.
Das Frame und Body sind nun Kabellos miteinander verbunden was das umständliche Verlegen der Kabel in der Vergangenheit lässt.
Zur Frage im Livestream ob es ein Mechanisches Frame geben wird, wurde dies seitens Dye verneint. „Das Mech Frame bleibt für die DSR+ vorenthalten“

Preise und Verfügbarkeit
Die Dye DLS ist in der USA ab 1695$ lieferbar und wurde auf der NXL bereits verkauft. Prinzipiell wird die DLS als limitiertes Produkt verkauft. Ob die Limitierung allerdings auf die Farben oder im Ganzen gezählt wird, ist derzeit noch nicht klar.
Im offiziellen Shop für Europa ist die DLS aktuell vorbestellbar bzw. Shops um Deutschland werden bereits beliefert.
Kunden aus Deutschland müssen sich allerdings noch gedulden da sich der Markierer laut Dye derzeit in der Zulassung befindet. Der Prozess kann zwischen einem und 3 Monaten dauern damit letztendlich der Markierer den benötigten F-Stempel erhält. Wer sich eine DLS sichern möchte, kann den Markierer ab 1695€ vorbestellen, was preislich auch eine gute Nachricht ist, da Produkte wegen Zoll und Steuern oft teurer im Vergleich zum Dollar-Preis sind.
